White cherry blossoms and blue skies in the Fort Royal Gardens

I'd been worried that when weather provided bright blue skies at a time when I was able to make my way over to the Fort Royal Gardens to try and get some photos of the flowers in the Cherry and Magnolias I'd be too late and the trees would have finished blooming. However, I was moderately lucky. Although the pink cherry blossoms had all disappeared to my great chagrin, at least the trees with the white blossoms were still blooming and perfectly positioned against blue blue skies.













The thing was that while most of the sky was cloudless and a clear endless blue, there was a portion which was filled with brooding stormy grey clouds. You can see the contrast in the pictures below.
