Mystery flowers

I came across these but have no idea what they are. I suspect they belong to the same Family as Saintpaulia (African Violets) or maybe the same Order. I'll look that up and see if I can identify them unless someone else does so before I do.

  1. These are Primula, sold in Vancouver, Canada at all corner stores in the spring. I don't know the species name - you can research that.

    1. Thank you. I found out what they were a while ago but appreciate the feedback especially as it serves as a reminder for me to do an follow up post on it.
      Incidentally I was wrong. They are far from related. Primulas belong to a completely different family and order altogether.
      All the more reason to do a post :)
